Our Presence
Pre Nursery
At this stage child needs to be developed and prepared for everything they are going to encounter in the school, e.g. following a common routine, communicating in a large group, paying attention for a longer span, eating on their own, making friends, looking after their bodily needs, their belongings, dealing with strangers, reading, writing etc.
At Footprints, we understand that young children grow and learn the most when they receive undivided attention and the right stimulation. As parents, you can be assured that our inclusive, engaging and interactive learning environments are capable of adapting to your child’s specific learning and development requirements.

Footprints the perfect foundation for your child's educational journey. We are the "Leading Preschool in India" recognized by BW Education, offering a remarkable Pre Nursery Program. In our quest to provide your child with the best start in life, we proudly implement the HighScope Curriculum, a well-regarded and comprehensive early childhood education approach.
HighScope classrooms follow a predictable sequence of events known as the daily routine. This provides a structure within which children can make choices, follow their interests, and develop their abilities in each content area.
CHOICE TIME
- Children being given choices always helps in sharpening their decision-making skills in the pre-nursery program.
- During this time of the day children are given both, the choice and the apt material to choose from and play with.
- Children dedicate their time on the what they can create and how they can use their potential skills to change a simple teaching aid or a toy into an invention.
- This is the time of the day where we can observe children creating empty cartons into either playfield area or farm houses and converting old clothes into robes.
SMALL-GROUP TIME
- To identify the individual strengths and challenges, a small group is essential for being child-centric.
- All children form a small group and interact with the teachers while they are being closely observed and being arranged to do the pre-nursery school activities.
- At this hour of the day we provide the child a safe room to communicate and demonstrate what they hold back due to inhibitions in a larger group.
- The pre-nursery educational activities here range from tracing letters, playing number games, resolving puzzles etc.
LARGE-GROUP TIMES
- Children learn the concept of participating in a team and build communities best in a large group setting.
- Here, children gather in a large group with their classmates and teachers to engage in different pre-nursery activities.
- From taking turns, to taking lead and synchronizing with the team, here children build upon their social skills.
- Extra-curricular activities for pre-nursery kids like music, group recitals, dancing to story narrations, puppet shows and much more form a part of this time of the day.
OUTSIDE TIME
- In the early childhood learning program, children learn best when they are exposed to environment and physically progress beyond the walls of the classroom.
- In Footprints pre-nursery plan, giving importance to whether, children spend around 30 mins with the teachers each day in the outdoor area of the centre.
- The most important lessons of life like climate, clouds and sun etc are learnt here including nature.
- For early childhood development, kids can be observed engaging in various physical activities along with stropping their senses.
TRANSITION TIMES
- Child knows what is going to take place next with a consistent daily routine as this time of the day helps in creating a scheduled routine for the children.
- Transitions are the gaps between other blocks of the day, like arrival to choose time or outdoor to small group time.
- Whenever possible, children are given the choice on how to make the transition. For example, they may choose how to move across the floor on their way to small-group time.
EATING AND RESTING TIMES
- Healthy meals and snacks allow pre-nursery children to enjoy eating healthy food in a supportive social setting.
- Rest is for quiet, solitary activities.
- Children can be observed reading, engaging in self play during this time if they choose to not sleep.
